Utah Behind-The-Wheel Course

This course fulfills the Utah state-required behind-the-wheel driving training for teens and new drivers. Students complete in-car driving sessions with a licensed Utah driving instructor, rotating between driving and observation time with up to three students per vehicle.

This structure allows students to learn not only by driving, but also by observing real-world traffic situations, instructor guidance, and peer driving decisions.

Scheduling Options

After completing payment, students may schedule their behind-the-wheel training whenever they are ready by texting preferred dates and available times to 801-660-7444.

We offer two flexible scheduling options based on the student’s driving experience:

• Students with significant driving experience may schedule three driving sessions, for example, 4:00–6:00 PM on three separate dates.

• Students with little or no prior driving experience may schedule up to six driving sessions, for example, 4:00-6:00 pm on six separate dates, at no additional cost.

This flexibility ensures each student receives training appropriate to their experience level while meeting Utah’s behind-the-wheel requirements.

Note: This course includes behind-the-wheel training only. Classroom or online instruction is not included.
